Foton aims at new energy vehicle
(chinatrucks.com, Dec 30, 2010) Foton Auto has got great market performance since 2010. It is predicted that the sales volumes in 2010 of Foton will surpass 700,000, which will increase 8% by same time of 2009. It will continue to lead domestic commercial vehicle market.
Foton has realized that it is not easy for Foton to achieve the great performance since the capacities of Foton have reached the limit. It is a long road for Foton to become world No.1. However, Foton must take “new energy” road provided that it will take the first place in the world.

Foton pays attention to new energy vehicle development, and it has set up the devoted new energy center. Three varieties of fuel, such as battery vehicle, EV and hybrid vehicle, have quite strict and careful planning whether it is commercial vehicle or sedan. It is introduced by Foton that lots of new energy products have passed EU certification. These new energy products will get access to European market.
