57,200 Foton Auman Medium & Heavy Trucks Sold from Jan. to May
www.chinatrucks.com: Based on Foton sales express released on June 14, production and sales volumes of Foton vehicles decreased in May, while sales of medium and heavy trucks increased.
12,000 Foton medium and heavy trucks were produced in May, up 19.1%, and the sales volumes were 11,300 units, up 6.5%.
Production and sales volumes of Foton light trucks were 35,600 units and 42,500 units, down 20.4% and 7.1%.
It predicts that sales of Foton medium and heavy trucks may increase 10-15% in 2011. Orders of Foton Auman trucks were affected by production capacity in 2010. Currently the monthly sales of 1st plant are 6,000-8,000 units and the 2nd plants are 2,000-3,000 units, which can customers' needs.
