Dongfeng Liuqi to build new truck plant
www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng Liuqi secured a land for 1,000 Mu (1 Mu equals 666m2) to build the 4th production base to produce passenger cars and commercial vehicles. General manager assistant & general manager in sales company, Yao Liwen, was interviewed as saying that Dongfeng Liuqi will produce the first 3-box sedan in 2013.
The land is in Hedong District, and current production of Dongfeng Liuqi are about 600 Mu altogether to produce Dongfeng Chenglong, Dongfeng Balong, Dongfeng Longka and Dongfeng Fengxing brands and 200 series heavy, medium and light commercial vehicles and MPV, and its annual production capability are 60,000 commercial vehicles and 50,000 passenger cars.
