Commercial vehicle companies compete on service in 2011
www.chinatrucks.com: Main China commercial vehicle manufacturers, especially heavy truck makers, made great efforts on service, such as Foton Auman "5T" service standards, Dongfeng Liuqi "Best Buy" and the first Sinotruk National truck service contest.
And sales of commercial vehicles are much colder over last year, and many industry insiders predict that it is not possible to see hot sales of trucks in the second half year like in 2010. The tough situation raises new problem for truck makers.
Affected by many factors such as high inventories, low development of transport industry and logistics industry, tighter financial policies, sales of commercial vehicles were rather down in the first half year. 2,111,100 commercial vehicles and 2,214,900 units were produced and sold in the first half year, down 6.07% and 3.67%.
And many truck makers started to improve their service levels to raise their market shares. And Dongfeng Liuqi is rather attractive in terms of service.
Dongfeng Liuqi set their strategic position of "to raise brand values by excellent service, to develop fast by perfect networks" on their annual meeting early this year. And they released four service policies after surveyed customers' needs and their interest, and these measures are to compensate all the losses within warranty period, to compensate for up to 500 Yuan per day for services out of regulated time, to place parts for 200 million Yuan across China to facilitate customers, and to provide 24hr service hot lines. Dongfeng Liuqi was awarded Excellent Award on after-sales services.
Dongfeng Liuqi is also going to scheme "521 service system" soon, and the service concept pays much attention on "care and guarantee", and they will improve their service on response time, policies, parts supply, and trainings.
"We reply more on print medias to broadcast our service concepts, as in the future we will employ more interactive methods, for example, our salesmen will introduce our tractors on site and more customers' examples will also be known," explained person in charge of Dongfeng Liuqi service department.
Sales of Dongfeng Liuqi increased in many provinces, and this is closely related to their innovative service concepts.
Dongfeng Liuqi "Sunny Service" covers all the lifetime of the vehicle, a whole set of solutions including operation planning, pre-sales, on-sales and after-sales services. And the customers can enjoy careful services if they are stilling using Dongfeng Liuqi vehicles.
Currently there are over 850 Dongfeng Liuqi service shops across China, and the average service radius is less than 100 km. And the warrenty period is for 24 months and 20 km. And the 24hr hot line is 4008877669.
Some industry insiders deem that commercial vehicle makers will complete on brands more in the future, and they should make effort to provide customer-oriented services as good as possible to promote sales of trucks.
