Foton-Benz heavy truck joint venture to start business in October
www.chinatrucks.com: Foton-Benz heavy trucks joint venture is going to start business in October, decleared during recent Foton Auman GTL offline ceremony. This means the end of cooperation between Foton and Daimler.

It is learned that Foton and Daimler will invest 5.6 billion Yuan to forge the joint venture to produce Foton Auman heavy trucks and Benz heavy truck engines.
It already took eight years for Foton and Daimler to sign the cooperation agreement in July this year, and currently their cooperation have been approved by the National Development and Reform Committee.
