Dongfeng commercial vehicles powertrains project founded
www.chinatrucks.com: Founding ceremony of Dongfeng commercial vehicles Shiyan commercial vehicle powertrains and new plant of Dongfeng heavy trucks was held in Shiyan on Sept. 29, 2011. The two plants will produce complete vehicles, engines, and gearbox.

Sales of Dongfeng heavy trucks topped the previous half year, especially Dongfeng Kingland. And currently they are facing lacks of powertrains. And the new plants will provide necessary engines and gearbox for Dongfeng.
"After research on China truck markets, we decided to build the two new plants. Dongfeng dCi 11 and 4H engines are warmly welcomed by customers in recent years with their leading power, fuel economy and reliability, “said Huang Gang, general manager of Dongfeng commercial vehicles.
