Exports of Sinotruk vehicles hit record high
www.chinatrucks.com: As many as 16,500 Sinotruk heavy trucks were exported from Jan. to Sept, up 12% over 2010, and the total exports of heavy trucks may amount to 20,000 units in 2011.
Sinotruk has delivered 1,500 heavy trucks to Nigeria Dangote Group in three batches, and this is also the largest export order for China heavy truck makers.
Dangote is the largest enterprise in Africa, and they did not even come to visit Sinotruk before signing the orders. And Sinotruk attributed these to the excellent performance of Sinotruk products. In recent years, there are 1,000 or so Sinotruk heavy trucks entering Nigeria, and the moving fleets are the best advertisement.
Sinotruk set six sections of their global markets, including Southeast Asia, Middle East, Southern Africa, Northern Africa, South America, and Russia & Middle Asia. And their overseas sales offices are over 350 units. In July Sinotruk signed truck sales order with Eritrea for 494 trucks and 35 trailers for the first time.
