Dongfeng "Qian" D300 develop strategy released
www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng released their "Qian" N300 medium-term development strategy on Dec. 10, 2012, and the 1,000,000th Dongfeng vehicle was off production line on the very same day.
"Qian" N300 is Dongfeng business plan from 2012 to 2016. "Qian" is the first divinatory symbol of Bagua, marking Dongfeng persistency to pursue their business goal. There are three horizontals in "Qian", meaning one-hundred-history Dongfeng, international Dongfeng and open Dongfeng. And the seal also represents profound culture of Dongfeng.
Three million Dongfeng vehicles will be sold in 2016, including one million commercial vehicles, one million passenger cars and one million Dongfeng vehicles with their own brands.
Dongfeng will invest more than thirty billion Yuan to develop their business, and 3% of their sales revenues will be used on research and development. Dongfeng will strengthen their 14 complete vehicle platforms and 4 key assembly plants. Dongfeng will also integrate their commercial vehicle departments, including commodity platform, powertrains, technology research, Internet marketing, brands and overseas markets.
Zhu Fushou, general manager of Dongfeng stressed that Dongfeng will spare no effort on coordinate different departments.
