Dongfeng tops annual sales of commercial vehicles in 2011
www.chinatrucks.com: Sales of commercial vehicles were released on Jan. 12th, 2012. And 648,300 Dongfeng vehicles were sold, more than Foton Motors.
Sales of Lifan, Sinotruk, Chongqing and JMC increased over 25% over that of Nov., and 216,100 trucks were sold by the top ten commercial vehicle manufacturers in Dec., taking 67% of all sales of trucks in China.
Sales of FAW, Sinotruk and Changan decreased faster, and Beiqi Foton decreased lower, and sales of Jinbei Share and Great Wall Motors increased the most.
In general, sales of commercial vehicles were not that optimistic over that of 2010. We can see from business conference of many truck makers that they are adjusting their sales and marketing strategies in 2012, and more fierce competition can be expected.
