Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles new plant succeeds in setting powertrain systems
www.chinatrucks.com: On Feb. 14, the first assembly plant steel structure column of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company new plant is hoisted successfully.
The new powertrain plant locates in Shiyan new auto industrial park, and it will mainly produce medium and heavy engines and transmission. The first phase engine project include 30,000 units dCi11 engine and 30,000 X7 engines, and the it takes 78,000 m2. The project is supposed to be finished in March, 2013. All equipment with high power-rich will be controlled by computers.
It took just one year and nine month for Dongfeng to select the site of the plant to finish the first steel structure column for the powertrain system.
