Foton build plant in Brazil to compete with JAC

www.chinatrucks.com: Recently Foton declared that they will invest 300 million USD to build a plant locally.
Foton Motors do Brazil signed contract with Bahia state on Sept. 7, 2012. The new plant will start to produce trucks in end of 2013, and the output will amount to 30,000 units a year in 2017. The plant is one million square meters.
There are also Ford and JAC plants in the city, and JAC Motors built plant with local partner Sergio Habib ten month ago.
