Sinotruk HOWO: Successful Transfer to Mongolian Customers
www.chinatrucks.com. It is reported that 35 Sinotruk HOWO 12L-6×4 tractors of Mongolian version have passed the acceptance check conducted by Mongolian customer representative. A potential order of 55 trucks soon came after the acceptance check as a result of the customer representative being satisfied with HOWO’s design.
The design for Mongolian version HOWO has the focus on the terrible working condition in Mongolia and is based on the previous 10L tractor for special improvements. With supports from all departments in the technical center, the design of frame beam, engine support, battery frame, fuel tank frame, silencer frame and balance shaft were all strengthened. To solve the problem of terrible road condition, a combination of frames were designed for air cylinder, battery and cooling water heater. JOST-90 saddle was equipped on the vehicle for the first time and re-design was carried out on the junction plates of the saddle. A total of over 10 technical transformations were conducted on the vehicle, including the change in the structure of transmission ancillary shoring.
