Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Builds Unique Purchasing Management
www.chinatrucks.com. The 2013 Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle conference for suppliers was held in Chengdu on Nov.29, 2012. On the conference, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle officially proposed the goal to improve the transformation of purchasing management and to build the own features, namely DPMW to achieve highly efficient and win-win competitiveness.
The company has accumulated solid basic knowledge on purchasing management. Meanwhile, the purchasing department has been concentrating on supplier platform, cost management and supplier chain risk. Various levels of suppliers, as well as professional purchasing management have been established and the amount of suppliers was also integrated. Taking 2013 as a new start, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle will improve its management capability in terms of supplier management, cost control, purchasing synergy, supply chain safety and environmental protection and the construction of purchasing information.
