Foton : Sales Planning of 4 Million Vehicles in 2020
www.chinatrucks.com. Taking “2020 Strategy” as the basis, which was released in 1010, Foton has conducted some adjustments according to the macro economy and industry trend. The company will further extend its value chain with the theme of vehicles and new energy vehicles.
Overseas business is the important supports for the “2020 Strategy”. Foton reached the sales of 21,238 units to the overseas market from Jan. to Jun. 2012, which accounted for 75.6% of the sales plan. The overseas market will be the key area for Foton to enter into. It is estimated that the sales will reach 24,894 in the second half of 2012 and 60,000 in 2013. According to the “2020 Strategy”, sales of Foton in the global market will exceed 4 million by 2020, in which, overseas sales will account for 30%.
