Foton Launches Commercial Vehicles in Oman
www.chinatrucks.com: Recently, it is learned that China-based truck manufacturer Foton has launched its commercial vehicles under Zubair Automotive Group in Oman.
The company will start the sale of the vehicles like the Tunland pick-up, the View C passenger van and the Aumark and Auman, light and medium commercial trucks, under the Zubair Automotive's commercial vehicle line-up.
Zubair Automotive general manager Mohamed Hubais said: "As the leading Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer, Foton will significantly enhance the existing commercial offerings from the Zubair Automotive Group."
The Tunland is powered by the Cummins ISF 4-cyclinder 2.8L diesel engine and is available in 2x4 or 4x4 variants.
The Foton View C is equipped with a 2.2L in-line four cylinder engine and features power steering as well as central control power door locks.
The Aumark features ZF Transmission, Dana Axle and is powered by Cummins Engine while the Auman VT is built over a Mercedes-Benz chassis and fitted with Cummins Engine.
