Sales Data of China Trucks in 2012
www.chinatrucks.com: In 2012, the overall truck sale was influenced by the macro economic showing downturn trend. An accumulative of 3.3038 million of Chinese trucks (including the completed, uncompleted and semi-trailer trucks, as belowed the sales data) was sold, down 6.8 percent. The cost on the raw material and the work labor brought big challenge to China truck industry.
In the heavy truck market, it decreased by 27.8 percent to 636.000 units in 2012, which was decreased the most. And the market share of heavy trucks in the overall China truck industry was 19.3 percent in 2012. But in 2011, the market share was 24.8 percent.

The sales of light trucks and the medium trucks also showed some dropping, but their market share in the overall truck industry were increasing. The light truck segment market was in the leading role in China truck market. The sale volume of light trucks decreased by 2.0 percent and the total sale volume were 1,842,700 units. And its market share increased by 2.5 percent to 55.8 percent.
For the micro trucks, the sale volume increased by 8.7 percent and it sold 534,800 units in all. And its market share increased by 2.3 percent to 16.2 percent.
