FAW TRUCKS Highlights J6P and Tiger VR at 3rd Myanmar International Auto Show
FAW TRUCKS showcased its J6P and Tiger VR trucks at the 3rd Myanmar International Auto Show, underlining its growing presence in the country’s commercial vehicle sector.
At the event, the company presented the two models as part of its broader lineup, emphasizing performance, fuel efficiency, reliability, and payload capacity. Backed by consistent product quality and an established brand reputation, FAW TRUCKS drew strong attention from visitors and industry participants.

The company reported that its booth attracted more than 500 visitors during the show and generated over 100 sales leads. Local customers engaged in active discussions and expressed positive feedback on the vehicles’ adaptability to local conditions, durability, and overall cost-effectiveness. The response further reinforced FAW TRUCKS’ position in Myanmar’s commercial vehicle market.
Expanding Footprint in Myanmar
FAW TRUCKS has been steadily strengthening its operations in Myanmar in recent years. Through close cooperation with eight local core dealers, the company has established a growing sales and service network across the market.

Supported by continued investment and stable product performance, FAW TRUCKS has recorded rapid growth in Myanmar for three consecutive years and now ranks first in market share. In the first quarter of 2026, the company secured orders for 1,000 units, marking a strong start to the year and supporting its goal of maintaining market leadership.
Advancing Localization and KD Assembly
As part of its long-term strategy, FAW TRUCKS is accelerating localization efforts in Myanmar. In 2026, the company is expanding cooperation in the commercial vehicle sector and advancing its KD (knock-down) assembly projects.
Local assembly of key models, including the J6P and J6V, is being rolled out to better align with market demand. The move is expected to reduce operating costs, improve supply efficiency, and enhance overall customer experience.
Enhancing Local Solutions and Service Capabilities
FAW TRUCKS said it will continue to develop market-specific solutions based on local demand, following a strategy of joint development and shared growth with partners.
The company is also strengthening its integrated service system, covering the full vehicle lifecycle. These efforts are aimed at helping customers lower operating costs and improve efficiency, while supporting deeper integration into Myanmar’s logistics and industrial ecosystem.
Driving Forward Global Strategy
Looking ahead, FAW TRUCKS will continue to advance its “International FAW TRUCKS” strategy under its “SPRINT 2030” roadmap. The company plans to remain focused on customer needs while investing in research and development and technological innovation.
By working with global partners, FAW TRUCKS aims to further expand its footprint in Myanmar and other international markets, scale up its overseas operations, and contribute to the sustainable development of the global commercial vehicle industry.
