JMC's Yu Hu Truck Gets Lifted For Shanghai Auto Show
www.chinatrucks.com: Apr 25, 2013 Posted by administrator In Shanghai Auto Show Tagged JMC, Shanghai Auto Show, Yu Hu Truck Comments 0 JMC are a local commercial vehicle partner to Ford in China, they bought a heavy truck maker earlier this year to further push into the Chinese CV market, Ford have also been assisting JMC with the launch of the first SUV model: The Yu Sheng.
JMC Yu Hu Truck
The Yu Sheng was set to come in SUV and truck form with the SUV coming first and the truck version following up with the name ‘Yu Hu’ meaning something along the lines of a ‘Territorial Tiger’.
JMC offer the Yu Hu with 2.4T diesel engines in FWD and AWD configurations and also a 2.4L gasoline engine from Mitsubishi. As Ford already allowed JMC to use the Ecoboost 2.0T in the Yu Sheng SUV (which was also unveiled in Shanghai) we suspect it might one day make it across to the Yu Hu along with Ford’s dual clutch gearbox. Here’s hoping.
