Foton New Energy Vehicles Run in Cuba

www.chinatrucks.com : New energy vehicles of BAIC will soon be running on Cuban streets. Lately, Foton of BAIC signed strategic agreement with transportation ministry of Cuba, which enables Foton new energy vehicles operating in the Caribbean country. News also revealed that the whole series of Foton commercial vehicles will also be exported to the country.

For now, Foton is selling vehicles of light duty trucks, pickups and vans. By cooperating with the Cuban government, Foton is expecting to explore the island market further.

Lacking resources while having a large population of cars, Cuba aims to promote resource-saving vehicles in the future. And the government has made it a policy to develop new energy vehicles. The transportation ministry of Cuba said that they welcome big companies like Foton to invest in Cuba and bring in advanced technologies.
