Another Upsurge of Foton “Polar Hero” Online Selection
ww.chinatrucks.com: On July 12, 2013, Foton and State Ocean Administration (SOA) signed an agreement on “Strategic Partners for Scientific Investigation in South and North Poles”. According to the agreement, Foton Auman, Tunland, AUV products will be the only appointed special vehicles for the 30th scientific investigation in South Pole of China’s scientific investigators, indicating Foton the first commercial vehicle brand landing on the South Pole. At the same time, an activity open to the public regarding experiencing the South Pole was also initiated. At present, the second round of the activity comes with an upsurge online.
It is learnt since the beginning of the event, approximate 100,000 netizens participate in the activity. The second sound starts from August 16, including three links: “online selection of polar hero”, “playing trick on South Pole tasks”, and “cheering for Foton mechanist, winning badges and prizes”. Netizens will have fun in participating in the activity and possibly win surprising gifts, and even realize the dream to go to the South Pole.

The person in charge of Foton brand communication makes detailed introduction to the second round of its “Foton Quality Tour in South Pole”. In order to facilitate China’s scientific research course, Foton is going to recruit truck drivers as the candidate of polar hero across the country.
The “Online selection of Polar Hero” starts online voting from August 16-31, 2013. From Sep.5-15, industrial experts will make assessment and select candidates to participate in next rounds of competition. In order to return netizens’ participation, Foton prepares some surprising gifts such as portable power source and innovative office suits.
Foton also recommends one mechanist to convoy the polar scientific investigators.
