Dongfeng T702 Debuts with 17 Patents
www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng (Shiyan) Special Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd (DFSCV) unveils a brand new truck body—T702 which integrates latest and brand new European CV design concept after three years of R&D. T702 body is feature by security, reliability, comfort and easy mate.
The unveiling conference attracts many leaders from Dongfeng and other companies, including Secretary of the Party of DFSCV Ma Liangjie, Head of Scientific R&D Li Jiangang, General Manager of Dongfeng Industrial Co., Ltd, and other leaders of some complete vehicle manufacturers.
Ma Liangjie introduces that T702 is a new body designed for upgrading Dongfeng commercial vehicles and also a strategic product for Dongfeng Industrial to accelerate development of economic commercial vehicles. It integrates all advanced resources in this industry and represents Dongfeng Industrial’s independent R&D results.
Luo Yuanhong says that T702 still need tests in the market and meet challenges from users. Dongfeng Industrial, in the spirit of the concept of creating elite products, will improve the products based on users’ advices.
It is said T702 was initiated in July 2010. It has passed 70 national part tests and overall performance detections in successive. In its tests under the operating mode in half year time, all test indexes reach and are even superior to industrial standards, fully demonstrating its design concept of “safety first and people orientation”. Many leading and personalized designs are applied to this product. T702 includes G standard type, V Long type, W high-roof type, J narrow type, covering all models of heavy, medium and light trucks and meeting demands of 160hp-340hp engines. The product is awarded with 17 national patents with complete independent intellectual property.
