WXDEW: Sales in August up by 3%

www.chinatrucks.com: In August, Wuxi Diesel Engine Works (WXDEW) sees a 3% growth in sales, 19.5% higher than last month. From Jan. to Aug., the sales accumulate to grow by 3.5%. According to current orders, the sales in September are expected to grow at a higher rate.

In face of severe market situation since the beginning of the year, WXDEW adhering to FAW’s proactive strategy to increase sales and profits makes careful plan and coordinates all department to realize seamless connection between sales and production. The sales companies have conducted a series of activities for various products so as to meet for different market demands.

The product mix is further optimized. The six-cylinder products have higher growth rate than four-cylinder products, and the heavy engines with higher technical contents grow fast than others. Aowei CA6DL and CA6DM are very popular. The sales grow by 12.2% and 63.8% respectively from Jan. to Aug. some strategic products are eye-catching, such as China 4 engines and gas engines with respective growth rates of 211% and 138%.
