Sinotruk SITRAK Passes through Quality Review by German MAN
www.chinatrucks.com: From October 7 to 11, German MAN’s Enterprise Quality Department Head Ludwig Lohner together his five quality and detection staff members pays a visit to Yuxi (Jiangsu province), Hangzhou and Wenzhou (Zhejiang province) to conduct a strict quality review based on German MAN’s standard on SITRAK which has been put into use before.
The five SITRAK trucks in this review respectively run 70,000 to 140,000 miles since the operation in April. The review team then presents a detailed detection report after careful detections and road tests. The report shows that all the trucks run very steadily without any fault shutdown and the overall condition is good for user’s use. The result again defines SITRAK’s leading position in Chinese tractor market.

Sinotruk SITRAK truck under quality review
The expert from Germany says clearly that SITRAK’s stability after ten thousands miles is basically the same with MAN’s vehicles, thus the promise to synchronize the quality and technology of complete vehicles with Europe is fulfilled.
SITRAK is a Chinese localized high-level joint invested heavy duty truck based on the introduction of German MAN TG series products. It is designed, prepared and produced in strict accordance with the quality outline jointly made by Sinotruk and MAN. Sinotruk sends 12 batches totaling 220 persons to study at German MAN. MAN on the other hand also send 20 batches of technology and quality management teams besides a permanent expertise team in Jinan set up before in order to ensure SITRAK products meet for MAN’s high quality standard.
Sinotruk exclusively introduced international leading MC11 electric control high pressure common rail engine is not only advanced in technology and high in reliability, but also superb in saving fuel. The review report from German expert shows that “both power and torque of the engine are in excellent condition especially in climbing mountainous road and overtaking other cars on the road, the sound of engine is appropriate and EVB is nice,” “……in the same condition, the fuel consumption is around 37L, 1L-2L lower than Chinese trucks……” The B10 engine can reach 1.5 million miles and thus wins a high recognition from users thanks to its excellent reliability and sound economic performance.
As for the original TGA cab introduced, experts and users agree that “the cab is spacious and sleeper is wide with good sound insulation without noise and unpleasant smell.” “Driver chair is comfortable with good damping effect.” “The windshield wiper works twice if the switch is triggered once. The windshield wiper of other Chinese trucks normally works once in the same condition.” “When entering in a tunnel or in a dim environment, the light is automatically brightened. Such a function can not be found in other Chinese trucks.” “The refrigeration effect is stable”…… As is mentioned in the review report, “SITRAK has a positive design concept, filling a gap of market vacancy between European high-level and Chinese trucks”, it deserves the name of Chinese first cooperative high-level brand.
A high-level truck also needs good repair and maintenance service, which is also an important review item of this time. SITRAK not only provides excellent vehicles, but also offers a professional after-sales service. In order to guarantee the service quality of SIRAK, Sinotruk carries out a “1234T” program, which means a vehicle engineering and service team with staff comes from the headquarters, branches and 4S store will provide explicit service targets: “1” represents the “one-to-one” service for each user; “3” represents that Sinotruk staff will pay a visit to users’ for free repair and maintenance service when the vehicle runs for 5,000 miles, 15000 miles and 30,000 miles; and “24T” means the fault of vehicles will be solved within 24 hours and a replaced vehicle is provided if the fix is not completed. The national service spare part network and ceaseless demands for Chinese domestic market will facilitate uses gain the maximum benefits in its long-term usage.
Chairman of Sinotruck Yan Wenjun says: “Despite German MAN experts confirm the reliability of SITRAK complete vehicle, their suggestions and problems found out are of the greatest help in our vehicle production. We will ask the joint design department to improve production technique and make the best products. We are not in a hurry to seek for the increase in sales, but attach much attention to the quality. We will never deliver products with flaws to users. The utmost pursuit of Sinotruk is to provide users with international high-level, reliable, economic, safe and comfort trucks to users. We also welcome truck users to collect their opinions and help us to produce heavy trucks favored by truck users.”
