Foton Sells 15,053 Medium and Heavy Trucks in April, up 13%
www.chinatrucks.com: Foton Motor released their sales report in April. And they sold 68,006 complete vehicles, up 1.54% over last year, including 15,053 medium and heavy trucks, up 12.91% over last year, 48,320 light trucks, 3,100 light buses and 706 medium and large buses. They sold 19,554 engines in April, up 7.80% over last year, including 9,717 Ollin engines and 9,837 Foton Cummins engines.
During the first four month, they sold 240,366 vehicles, up 0.13% over last year, including 2,388 medium and large buses, up 124.65% over last year.
In terms of production, they produced 63,977 vehicles in April, down 1.49% over last year, and their output of engines were 19,194 units, up 12.38% over last year.
