Jinan Sinotruk: Achieved over 122 Billion Profits in the First Six Months
www.chinatrucks.com: On August 27, 2014, Sinotruk released its sales report of the first half year in 2014. According to the report, the turnover of Sinotruk registered 122.36 billion yuan, and net profits was 2.84 billion yuan, up by 19.12% and 53.40% respectively year-earlier. In the first six months, Sinotruk sold heavy duty truck 45,884 units, up by 14.03% year-on-year.
Statistics of CAAM indicated that Chinese truck manufacturers sold 428,900 units of heavy duty vehicles, up by 6.53% over last year. Sinotruk sold 45,884 units of heavy duty trucks, up by 14.03% year-earlier.
Looking into the second half of 2014, national macroeconomic level still maintain a good overall trend, as well as Heavy truck market competition will become more intense. Sinotruk indicated that the company need constantly bring new ideas to the production and innovation. To keep a competitive advantages in the new competition, Sinotruk must grabs the opportunities of national 4 emission standard and city infrastructure upgrade, and increase the market introduction efforts with MAN engine products of international technology level.
