Dongfeng Opens First 4S Shop in Hong Kong
www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles new truck introduction meeting and their opening pf the first 4S shop, Dongtai Auto Company, in Hong Kong was held on Oct. 18. And Dongfeng Kingland 38-ton tractor and Dongfeng Kingrun 16-ton cargo van will start to serve Hong Kong and Macau since now.
“We pay much attention on Hong Kong truck market, although it is not big, ” said Huang Gang, general manager of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company. And he said Hong Kong has its unique advantages compared with mainland China, and it is classic right-hand-drive high end market, and Dongfeng sees Hong Kong as first station to enter Southeast Asia and other high end markets in the world.
And the products introduced to the 4S shop are under many tests and discussed by Dongfeng and Dongtai Auto Company. And the trucks are upgraded on specifications, performance and reliability, and their specifications are with Hong Kong and Macau’s regulations, road conditions, usage customs and maintenance costs. And there are three wheelbase version for Dongfeng Kingland 16-ton cargo vans.
It is introduced that Dongtai Auto Company was founded in 2012, and they became Dongfeng’s agency in Hong Kong and Macau in December that year. And they have 20-year experiences on selling commercial vehicle and they are also the first professional auto agency to bring 4S shop for commercial vehicles to Hong Kong and Macau.
