SINOTRUK won National Scientific and Technological Progress Award
www.chinatrucks.com: On January 9th, National Science and Technology Awards Conference held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Heavy duty diesel vehicles pollution control technology (SCR) that SINOTRUK involved won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. It is reported, the award is the highest level of science awards that SINOTRUK won since the reform of the company.
SINOTRUK is mainly responsible for vanadium catalysts-urea SCR system and expansion of the production scale in the project. The project is a successful example of combining research and production. SCR project successfully put into production not only bring great market competitiveness for SINOTRUK products, but also break the multinational industry monopoly and bring confidence for the whole nation heavy duty industry.
