Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles Highlights Auto Shanghai 2015
www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company started their event on April 20, 2015, which opens the curtain for their show. And Dongfeng brought Kingland flagship truck, Dongfen Kinland truck, Dongfeng T-lift truck, Dongfeng Kingrun and Dongfeng suburb buses as well as engines to join the Auto Shanghai 2015. Themed as “Innovation for Improvement”, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company stresses technology innovation and green features, indicating their leading technology strengths in China truck industry. And they also shows their international image with the cooperation with VOLVO.
Among the five truck models, Kingland flagship truck is self-developed high efficient long haul logistics truck, and its technology can be comparable with European counterparts, and the truck attracts many attentions since launching. Dongfeng Kingland truck features high efficiency and great quality and the truck is welcomed by many customers, and as many as 90,000 units have been sold since launching for nine years and its market share lists the first for a long time in the segment market. Dongfeng Kingrun truck inherits Dongfeng’s advantages on producing medium trucks. And Dongfeng suburb buses are newly developed based on their bus chassis with great technology advantages, and the bus features comfortable experiences.
It is worth mention that the Dongfeng engines are mainly shown for the first time, and we can expect their technology innovation and environmental protection features. And the four-cylinder engine is produced on the new production line with high reliability and great fuel economy. And the 14-speed transmission is introduced by VOLVO with advanced technology and this is also one of the results of Dongfeng cooperation with VOLVO Group.
Dongfeng has never stopped for overseas markets apart from leading smooth development in domestic markets. Dongfeng will fulfill their international strategy with three steps, and the first is to strengthen their leading position in China, and they will explore overseas markets actively; and the second goal is to develop steadily in major overseas markets and the third goal is to enter world mature markets and become world level truck brand with general recognition.
