Foton Sells 224,900 Vehicle Jan to May

www.chinatrucks.com: Foton Motor released their sales report on June 4, and they produced 44,300 vehicles in May, down 5.8% over last year, and they sold 43,700 units, down 12.95% over last year. 

 

The total production this are are 236,500 units, down 17.68% over last year, and they sold 224,900 units, down 22.48% over last year.

 

In terms of trucks, the sales of medium and heavy trucks saw the biggest decreasing and they sold 7620 medium and heavy trucks, down 38.49% over last year, and they sold 35616 medium and heavy trucks, down 41.59% over last year. And they sold 31807 light and mini trucks in May, down 4.33% over last year, and they sold 168878 units from Jan to May, down 18.72% over last year.

 
And their sales of engines are rather great. They sold 8033 Ollin engine in May, down 17.07% over last year, and the figure were 46993 units from Jan to May, up 10.38% over last year. And they sold 12883 Foton Cummins engines in May, up 33.42% over last year, and the total figure were 67878 units, up 33.07% over last year.
