Dongfeng Cummins Show at BICES 2015
www.chinatrucks.com: The 13th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2015) was successfully held at Beijing International Exhibition Center in China on 22 September 2015, themed by “Quality Drives Innovation and Building China Dream”.
Twelve models of engines have been displayed, seven of which produced by Dongfeng Cummins are engineering machinery ones complying with China Ⅲ, namely, QSB3.9/5.9, QSB4.5/6.7, QSC8.3, QSL8.9, QSZ13, ISD6.7 and ISL9.5. The last two are manufactured for heavy-duty trucks. These are provided to customers with more choices in respects of application, matching and cost control, referring to the displacement from 3.9L to 13L and the power of 80-550hp. They adopt advanced electric control technologies, available to shift working mode according to environment and operation conditions and enable functions of on-board diagnostics as well as warning. They are broadly applied in various engineering machinery such as excavators, shovel loaders, land levelers, road rollers and air compressors, not only marking the world level technical strength of Cummins and but also the localization capability of this builder focusing on the Chinese market and exquisitely catching customers’ demand.
In particular, QSZ13L heavy engines are broadly confirmed by customers for advanced design, compacted structure, light weight, good performance and adaptability of whole sets. The design objective of reliability of QSZ13 is 20% higher than the industry. In emission, this model conforms to both China Ⅲ and European StageⅢA, perfectly demonstrating the concept of green environment due to well-designed combustion chamber and highly-mounted piston rings.
