Dongfeng Aims to Sell 170,000 Units in 2017
Recently, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Dongfeng) upped its annual sales target, aiming to sell 170,000 units commercial vehicles in its 2017 financial year.
From January to October this year, Dongfeng sold 145,304 units heavy-duty trucks, up by 39% year on year. In addition, its sales in the first ten months this years exceeded both its overall sales in 2016 and its sales target of 134,000 units set in early this year.
By further strengthening its competitiveness in the new energy vehicle and internet of vehicle sectors, Dongfeng is aiming to increase its total annual sales to 35 million units by 2025, with the sales of new energy vehicles accounting for 20% of its sales. (www.chinatrucks.com)
