Sinotruk Pakistan Training Center Begins Trial Operation in Lahore

Sinotruk Pakistan training center, located in Lahore, Pakistan's economic center, started trial operation on 20 November. It would be the first training center in Pakistan for China commercial vehicle industry, as well as the first independently-operated one in overseas market on the part of Sinotruk.

Generally, there are three purposes for setting up a training center in Pakistan. The first one is to conduct training for local drivers and maintenance workers. Next, it aims to enhance the brand influence of Sinotruk in Pakistan. Finally, it is set for the purpose of fostering after-sales service personal for other countries in the region.

In the past few decades, Japan made truck has been holding the Pakistan market. However, as the one-belt one road initiative and China–Pakistan Economic Corridor kick off, Sinotruk vehicles begin to make an entry into Pakistan market in quantity and seize the market. As its market share increases, the after-sales system thereafter gets constantly improved. The new established training center, together with the after-sales system, will further strengthen its presence and exploration in Pakistan.
