12 Most Valuable Commercial Vehicle Brands in China, 2018
On June 20, 2018, the World Brand Lab released its list of China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in Beijing. The report shows that the China’s top 500 most valuable brands in 2018 amounts to 36.892 billion in value, marking an increase of 18.56% over the last year. Of the total 500 brands, auto brands account for 33, including 12 commercial vehicle brands.

Foton has been holding the first place in commercial vehicle field for 14 consecutive years, with a brand value of ¥132.867 billion this year. Dongfeng, as a brand for both passenger car and commercial vehicle, took the 37th place this year with a brand value of ¥129.238 billion, down from 36th last year. FAW Jiefang is known as the oldest truck makers in China. In the first five months, a total of 25% sales in heavy-duty market were contributed by FAW Jiefang. In brand value, it saw a 17% increase from last year to ¥60.672 billion this year. Yutong and Kinglong, as leading bus makers, came in 114th and 116th on the list with brand value of 38.016 billion and 37.815 billion respectively.
Apart from the top five mentioned above, other listed automakers included Higer, BYD, Sinotruk, JMC, Shacman, JAC, Golden Dragon. Gong in to specific, Higer and BYD come behind Kinglong with over 30 billion in brand value, with others following behind with brand value of around 20 billion.
