Cenntro Releases Metro II Internet-connected Electric Truck
On June 26, Cenntro Automotive Group (hereafter referred to as Cenntro) held 2018 New Product Press Conference in Beijing, displaying Metro II internet-connected electric truck.

Having been fully committed to providing last 1-10 kilometer logistic solutions in urban areas, Metro II is the fourth light intelligent vehicle after Metro I, Jiefang and E3.
Despite its small size, Metro II boasts a formidable loading capacity (8 cubic meters in space) and is able to drive 300 km continuously. In addition, It can be fully recharged in just two hours.
Apart from Metro II, Caidou, a self-driving chassis for logistic vehicle also made its debut. Unlike a traditional chassis, Caidou is readily programmable, giving it more agility and maneuverability.
Set up in 2013, Cenntro built its Co-op in 2017. To date, it boasts a wide spectrum of products. Currently, it has its production bases and R&D facilities in Chengzhou, Huaian, Changxing. After the construction of its new factories in Guangxi and Wuhu, Anhui, Cenntro is expected to increase its annual production volume to 300,000 units by 2019.
In 2017, Cenntro sold 2,085 units vehicles. So far this year, the company’s sales volume has reached 40,000 units, fully demonstrating its huge market potential. (www.chinatrucks.com)
