CNHTC Haohan J5G Truck Won Shutu Cup Energy-saving Championship

On July 8, Shanghai 1st Shutu Cup Container Truck Energy-saving Competition officially kicked off. After several rounds of competition, Haohan J5G container truck, made by CNHTC, won the championship with a fuel consumption of 18.9 L after driving 100 kilometers.

It is revealed that this year’s competition has attracted ten participants in the logistic industry in Shanghai. The whole competition was held on the expressway, starting from Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone and ending at Xiasha District, Hangzhou. With a round trip distance of 470 kilometers, each vehicle’s oil tank was filled full and then was sealed before the competition.

Equipped with MC07 engine imported from MAN based in Germany, Hanhan J5G truck is well known for its high fuel economy. Thanks to Bosch’s new generation high pressure common rail fuel injection system, MC07 engine further reduces the internal friction and improves its energy efficiency. (www.chinatrucks.com)
