Foton Philippines Sets to Launch Gratour TM in 2019
Foton is looking to provide small and medium business enterprises a small, practical vehicle that can help entrepreneurs transport supplies and goods. Say hello to the Foton Gratour TM, their smallest business hauler yet. It will slot below the Tornado M and will be available some time in 2019.

Previewed during the 2018 Philippine International Motor Show, the Gratour TM is Foton's take on a small utility vehicle built for hauling cargo or passengers. The Gratour TM gets a flat-nosed, cab-over design and a front fascia that takes inspiration from the Traveller. It features a two-bar style front grill, stylish headlights and comes with foglights as well.

Inside, the Gratour TM is capable of seating 14 passengers at the back. The side-facing seats can also be folded to provide additional cargo space for long or big loads. The seats are upholstered in fabric while an air-conditioning system keeps the cabin cool. It has a curb weight of 1210 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2785 kg. Size-wise, the Gratour TM measures 4650mm long, 1600mm wide and 1920mm tall. Wheelbase and ground clearance, on the other hand, are at 2400mm and 175mm respectively.

The Gratour TM is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder that is connected to a five-speed manual gearbox. It puts out 110 PS at 6000 rpm along with 142 Nm of torque from 3000 - 4200 rpm. Other features available in the Gratour TM include adjustable headlights, foam seats, power windows and central locking.
Foton Philippines plans to officially launch the Gratour TM in Q2 of 2019, along with the Gratour iM6. Besides the MPV body style, the Gratour TM will also be available as a dropside pickup. (www.chinatrucks.com)
