Dongfeng KL Truck Makes Its Debut in Yancheng
On June 6, Dongfeng officially released KL 8×4 truck in Yancheng, Jiangsu. Equipped with dCi465-51 engine, Dongfeng Dena 440 axle, and 14-speed manually controlled DT1422 transmission gearbox, the truck is able to deliver a maximum 465 horsepower and a maximum torque of 2,200 N.m. It achieves higher energy efficiency and delivers more powerful performances.
According to Dongfeng, a total number of 18 Dongfeng KL 8×4 trucks have been put into operation with a combined a mileage of 229,000 kilometers. Having endured a number of stringent tests at extremely demanding environments, the truck achieves a much higher safety standards and fully meets the latest ECER29-03 safety regulations. In addition, its B10 life span reaches 1.2 million kilometers.
Built on the huge success of its predecessors, Dongfeng KL is set to create more added values for its customers and provide more travel comforts for truck drivers.
