Silk Way Rally | S05 TUNLAND
Rushing across the steppes of Mongolia!
STAGE03-04: ULAANBAATAR – MANDALGOVI
LEG DISTANCE: 364.59 KM
SPECIAL DISTANCE: 337 KM
75% gravel, 25% sandy roads
RANKING: T2 GROUP NO.2

T2 GROUP racing vehicles: series production cross-country vehicles approved by FIA regulations.
The fifth stage is set along Mongolia’s signature tracks: hills, steppes, off-road driving and many parallel paths, which may misdirect the inattentive ones. There are tourist zones, monuments and stony hollows on the route. Trying to escape from the heat, the track then leads the racers into the mountains, where they are required to seek for their speedy path across plateau at the altitude of 1,600 meters.

Foton Tunland has driven at full speed towards the terminal point and kept ranking No.2 in T2 group.
Cross-Country Ability
Foton Tunland is equipped ESC(Electronic Stability Control), which is a computerized technology that can improve Tunland’s stability by detecting and reducing loss of traction. When ESC detects loss of steering control, it automatically applies the brakes to help “steer”Tunland where the driver intends to go.

Foton Tunland is equipped with ABS(Anti-locked Braking System) , which is forr preventing the wheels from locking up during braking, thereby maintaining tractive contact with the road surface.

EBD(Electronic Brake force Distribution) is also equipped, which coupled with ABS, can apply more or less braking pressure to each wheel in order to maximize stopping power whilst maintaining vehicular control.
