Foton Philippines Concluded BIG ATTRUCKTION with 100 Units Vehicles Sold

On September 12 and 13, Foton BIG ATTRUCKTION took place in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. The event saw a record number of visitors amounting to 1392 and sales of 156 units vehicles, consisting of 30 heavvy-duty trucks, 70 Light truck and 50 passenger car.

BIG ATTRUCKTION is based on FOTON BIG SHOW, which has been held for the past 5 years and offered test-drives, cash discounts, accessible financing schemes from partner banks, and PMS bundles with vehicle purchases.

Vehicles on display include lineup of light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The trucks come in different body configurations like logistics, dump, crane, mixer, AUMARK S for city distribution and refrigerated truck. Besides commercial vehicle, Foton also displayed its TUNLAND 2019 and its best selling passenger car like VIEW CS2. During the event, Foton also showcased its best-selling light duty truck, Foton Jeepney, which was developed using the brand's AUMARK C platform.

Modern Jeeepney was launched by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) aiming to promote Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP). Foton claims that much upgrades has been made to its new Jeepney to significantly improve its safety, fuel efficiency and comfortable experience. The future market demand for Modern Jeepney is expected to reach 35,000 in Philiphines and will become another growing point.
