Dongfeng Rolls Out The 6,000,000th CV to Mark Its 50th Anniversary

Recently, Dongfeng rolled out its 6,000,000th unit commercial vehicle to mark its 50th founding anniversary.

Also, the truck maker released two units white-colored concept vehicles, Tianlong and Tianjin, which aroused keen interest among all people present. According to the truck maker, the two concept vehicles are the company’s latest achievements in technological innovation. Equipped with the new generation of automatic driving technologies, electric systems and information technologies, the two vehicles fully showcase the company’s formidable strengths in manufacturing more intelligent vehicles.

In the past fifty years, Dongfeng has successfully developed a number of well-known truck models, including EQ240, its fifth generation Tianlong KL, Tianjin KR, etc. With a pioneering spirit, it has played a central role in promoting the fast and sound development of China’s commercial vehicle industry.

Statistics show that Dongfeng sold 12,509 units medium- and heavy-duty trucks in August this year, up by 10.48% year on year. More specifically, it sold 11,219 units heavy-duty trucks, up by 18.29% year on year; it sold 1,290 units medium-duty trucks, up by 13.56% compared with the monthly sales volume in July. From January to August this year, Dongfeng’s total sales volume of medium- and heavy-duty trucks reached 122,400 units, up by 4.15% year on year.
