BYD Rolls Off Its New Energy Sanitation Vehicles in Changsha
On December 26, a grand ceremony was held in Changsha to mark the assembly of BYD new energy sanitation vehicles at Zoomlion Industrial Park. On the same day, BYD and Infore Zoomlion signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement on New Energy Sanitation Equipment Development.

Infore Enviro is a leading supplier of high-end equipment for environmental protection and maintenance. Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Infore Zoomlion), as a subsidiary of Infore Enviro, is specialized in developing and marketing sanitation machinery and equipment and environmental protection projects.
As the leading player in the world’s new energy vehicle industry, BYD has already built its commercial vehicle research center and production base in Changsha. So far, it has rolled out 5,000 units electric heavy-duty trucks and 50,000 units electric buses, all of which have well stood the test of time.
The new energy sanitation vehicle, equipped with BYD electric chassis, electric axles, CAN control, panoramic viewing cameras and a host of advanced technologies, achieves higher safety standards and is internationally competitive. So far, BYD sanitation vehicles have made their way to USA and Brazil. In China, they can easily be found in Beijing, Hangzhou, Xi’an.
