BYD Debuts Full Product Portfolio at 2026 Greater Bay Area Auto Show
BYD Commercial Vehicles showcased its complete lineup of new energy commercial vehicles at the 2026 Greater Bay Area Auto Show, marking the first time the company has presented its full commercial vehicle portfolio at the event.
Held from May 29 to June 7, the exhibition featured BYD's dedicated brand pavilion in Hall 1, where the company displayed a range of battery-electric trucks and buses designed for logistics, public transportation, municipal services, and industrial operations.

The truck lineup included the T4 electric mini truck, T5 light truck, Q3 electric tractor, and T18 electric water sprinkler truck. The portfolio covers vehicle classes ranging from 3.5 tonnes to 31 tonnes and is aimed at a variety of commercial applications.

Among the vehicles on display, the T4 electric mini truck was highlighted as a solution for urban logistics and last-mile delivery operations. Featuring a lightweight design and optimized aerodynamics, the model records energy consumption of 18.5 kWh per 100 km under CLTC testing conditions. BYD said the vehicle has already been introduced to overseas markets including Japan, Mexico, and Singapore.
The T5 light truck, available in both battery-electric and hybrid configurations, is designed for applications such as parcel delivery, retail distribution, refrigerated transport, and urban freight operations. The platform can be adapted for multiple body configurations, including cargo vans, refrigerated units, and stake-body trucks.
For heavier-duty transport requirements, BYD presented the Q3 electric tractor. Offered with multiple battery configurations, the vehicle is intended for use in ports, industrial parks, and regional logistics operations, covering applications from yard transport to short-haul freight distribution.
The company also displayed the T18 electric water sprinkler truck, a municipal service vehicle equipped with a high-capacity battery system. According to BYD, the model offers a gradeability exceeding 30%, enabling operation across a variety of urban and industrial environments. The vehicle forms part of BYD's broader electric sanitation vehicle portfolio, which has been deployed in support of major public events and municipal operations in China.
In the passenger transport segment, BYD exhibited the B12 electric bus, developed for the European market, alongside the newly launched C11 electric bus.

Built on BYD's e-BUS 3.0 platform, the C11 incorporates several of the company's latest technologies, including the Blade Battery, Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) integration, the Yunnian-A suspension system, and a 1000V high-voltage architecture. The model is designed to improve vehicle efficiency, safety, and operational performance for public transportation operators.

BYD Commercial Vehicles reported cumulative global sales exceeding 203,000 units to date, with products operating in more than 70 countries and regions across six continents. The company continues to expand its international presence as demand for zero-emission commercial vehicles grows worldwide.
The Greater Bay Area Auto Show provided BYD with an opportunity to demonstrate its latest developments across the commercial vehicle sector, reflecting the company's ongoing focus on electrification in both freight and passenger transport markets.
