CNHTC to Release its First Pickup in Q4
On April 27 and 28, at CNHTC Light Vehicle 2021 Marketing Conference, the company revealed that it will further diversify its product line, adding medium and light trucks, SUVs, pickups, vans, MPVs, special vehicles to its core business.
According to CNHTC, its first pickup model VX7, particularly designed for the high-end market, will officially hit the market in the fourth quarter this year. Bearing some resemblance with VGV U75, VX7 has made improvements in several areas and achieves higher intelligence.
Equipped with New Energy Battery R&D Center of Great Wall Motor Company Ltd. 2.0T gasoline powered engine and Shengduan 8AT transmission gearbox, VX7 can achieve a maximum power of 165 kw and a maximum torque of 385N.m. CNHTC also reveals that the pickup may well introduce Weichai 2.0T diesel powered engine for its powertrain.
