Foton Motor Donates Ambulances to Help Bangladesh Fight Against COVID-19
June 18th, 2021 Dhaka Bangladesh--On June 13 and 14, BAIC Group and BAIC Foton donated two units View ambulances to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), aiming to help the country fight against COVID-19.
In response to the local prevention and control of the pandemic outbreak, the donation was made by ACI Motors, a distributor of Foton in Bangladesh, on behalf of Foton motor. Those who were present at the donation ceremony include director of Dhaka police department and Md Ali Noor, Secretary of Ministry of Medical Education and Family Welfare.
As one of the leading players in China’s commercial vehicle industry, Foton Motor has been committed to shouldering more social responsibilities. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Foton Motor has already sent pandemic relief materials to over 30 countries and regions. In addition, it has donated three units negative pressure ambulances and four units normal ambulances to Ecuador, Myanmar, Philippines, Nigeria and Pakistan.
