220 FOTON AUMAN Asphalt Tank Trucks Empower Road Construction in Nigeria

NIGERIA, December 16, 2021 /chinatrucks.com/ -- On December 15, 20 FOTON AUMAN asphalt tank trucks were delivered to a customer in the asphalt industry at the customer's plant in Abuja, Nigeria for use in road construction work. With this delivery, the number of FOTON AUMAN trucks in operation in the customer's fleet will increase to 220 units.

The customer is a leading player in providing asphalt products in Nigeria and was ranked the 3rd in the industry. Its main operations include import and sales, as well as storage of asphalt products. To cope with shortage in the supply of asphalt, the customer has set up a customized truck fleet with the objective of delivering hot asphalt to road contractors at construction sites all over Nigeria.

A customized fuel tank with up to 1,400-liter capacity was installed on the AUMAN tank trucks that delivered this time, enabling longer distances to be covered per fill-up. Besides, there are many customized options available, including thermal insulation tank, anti-wave design inside the heating pipes, and customized valves with strong sealing performance and more, to ensure the safety of transportation.
