FOTON to Offer a Wider Range of Products in Algeria
As the demand for light and heavy commercials grows in Algeria, some companies are set to introduce more products. Foton Motor, a leading Chinese brand of light commercial vehicles and heavy-duty trucks, has chosen F-El Djazair Motors as its new distributor in Algeria. The aim of this collaboration is to introduce a diversified range of models to meet the needs of the Algerian consumer.

F-El Djazair Motors is committed to supplying high-quality models, designed specifically for the local market, and to offering comprehensive after-sales services, including warranties and spare parts - essential elements in the commercial vehicle sector.
The Foton range of vehicles
Pick-ups: Robust and high-performance
So, Foton offers a variety of pick-ups to meet the demands of the Algerian market:
Tunland G7 4×2 with single cab and 164 hp 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine.
Tunland G7 4×2 with double cab and 164 hp 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine.
Tunland G7 4×4 with double cab and 164 hp 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine.
Mini-trucks: Agile and Versatile
Gratour Plateau mini-trucks, powered by 90 hp 1.25-liter diesel engines, are also available in a range of cab and chassis configurations.
Utility Vans: comfort and efficiency
The Toano L2H2 and L3H3 models, with load capacities of up to 3.5 tonnes, offer an ideal solution for light goods transport, and a complete range of coaches, from light models to spacious touring coaches, all equipped with high-performance diesel engines and advanced safety features.
Light and Heavy Trucks: power and reliability
In addition, Foton offers a variety of light and heavy-duty trucks, suitable for a variety of applications, from urban delivery to long-distance haulage.
All we have mentioned is the initial lineup of the brand in Algeria, and it will be enhanced with other customizations for these models, such as customizing light trucks and Minitruck trucks with a refrigerated container, etc., as is the case with utility vehicle brands in Algeria, such as the Jac or DFSK brand.
According to the marketing department, these vehicles fully meet the requirements of the terms and conditions book in terms of safety and warranty of 5 years or 80,000 kilometers. They also respond to customers’ requirements in terms of technology, specifications, reliability, and even accompaniment in terms of after-sales services.
Finally, after obtaining the prior license to import vehicles, the Foton brand agent in Algeria, F-El Djazair Motors, is awaiting final approval to initiate various measures to import its wide range of vehicles, which is expected to be in the late first half of the year 2024.
