FOTON Shines at FILDA 2024 in Angola
From July 23 to 28, the 39th Luanda International Fair (FILDA 2024) was successfully held in Luanda, the capital of Angola. As the largest and most influential comprehensive exhibition in Southwest Africa, FILDA is the wind vane of the regional economy. On the occasion of FOTON's 28th anniversary, FOTON Africa Representative Office in Angola, together with its dealers and partners, for the first time fully demonstrated the excellence of FOTON's full series of products at the exhibition, and jointly drew a grand blueprint of FOTON's internationalization strategy on the land of Africa.
At the exhibition site, AUMAN dump truck and automatic tractor, AUMARK light truck, TUNLAND G7 automatic products, as well as the debut of TUNLAND V7/V9 series, all of them highlighted the brand image of FOTON as highly efficient, durable and advanced, attracting a lot of attention and winning wide acclaim. Visitors and potential customers were in an endless stream, stopping to consult and talk about the vision of cooperation.

During the exhibition, Chinese Ambassador to Angola Zhang Bin (second from right) and Economic and Commercial Counselor Lu Yuzong (second from left) visited FOTON Motor's booth and took a group photo with Zhang Dongfeng (first from left), Vice General Manager of FOTON Africa Region, and Li Chengpeng (first from right), Sales Director of CAN HK, LDA Dealer. Ambassador Zhang Bin expressed his appreciation for FOTON's rapid development in Angola market and encouraged it to continue to play its advantages to promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Angola.

As an important part of FOTON's Africa strategy, the Angola Representative Office, since its establishment in 2023, has been practicing FOTON's mission of internationalization with the spirit of “Dare to break through, Dare to try, Dare to win”. In the wave of “Second business start-up”, the representative office has achieved a 250% year-on-year sales surge, showing the courage and determination of FOTON people to clear the past and empty their cups, as well as their deep sentiment of “Planting FOTON widely”. Looking forward to 2024, the Angola Representative Office will pursue the victory, strengthen the “New quality fighting force” with a more vigorous fighting spirit, vow to increase annual sales by more than 200%, and continue to write a brilliant chapter of FOTON in Africa.

In addition, FOTON also took this opportunity to announce a series of new strategies and cooperation plans for the African market, aiming to further consolidate and expand FOTON's market position in Africa and contribute FOTON's strength to the prosperity of the local economy and society by deepening localized production, optimizing the service network, upgrading the quality of after-sales service, and joining hands with the local enterprises and the government to promote the green and sustainable development.

By taking FILDA as a stage, FOTON not only demonstrated the excellent performance and technical strength of its products, but also conveyed the enterprise spirit of FOTON people, which is to dare to dream, to be brave to explore, and to pursue unremittingly. On the journey of “Second Venture”, FOTON is embracing the world and creating the future with a more open attitude.
