Dongfeng Inaugurated Its Global Innovation Center
Dongfeng Motor inaugurated its Global Innovation Center on August 2nd in Wuhan Economic Development Zone, marking a significant step towards pioneering scientific research and future technologies. Situated in the heart of Wuhan and adjacent to Dongfeng Motor Group headquarters, the center has already welcomed its inaugural team of technology research and development professionals.
Focused on four key areas—future technology foresight, advanced materials and processes, intelligentization, and technology demonstrations—the center aims to integrate global research and industry resources. Its strategic location enhances collaboration and experimentation, aligning seamlessly with Dongfeng Motor's industrial strategy.
Yang Yanding, Director of Dongfeng R&D Institute, emphasized the center's commitment to enhancing research capabilities, attracting global tech talent, and fortifying the automotive industry's ecological footprint. Looking ahead, the center will prioritize cutting-edge technologies, tackling technical challenges, and accelerating innovation in smart vehicle development.
The establishment of Dongfeng Motor Global Innovation Center underscores Wuhan's emergence as a dynamic hub for automotive innovation, poised to drive high-quality development across Hubei Province and beyond.
