SANY Moves into Electric 3.0 Era

On August 9, SANY Heavy Trucks held a big event in Changsha, Hunan, to announced its shift to the "Electric 3.0 Era". The event was attended by over 200 logistics companies and media and aims to create a low-carbon logistics ecosystem with this upgrade.

SANY Heavy Truck's Chairman, Liang Linhe, noted that the current market faces issues with insurance data, pricing, and services. He hopes that innovation in products, services, and quality will shift focus back to these areas, avoiding price wars and inefficiencies.
Previously, SANY led in sales in the Electric 1.0 era and introduced advanced technologies in the Electric 2.0 era. Now, with the Electric 3.0 era, SANY is offering a comprehensive solution that integrates vehicles, charging, and operations.

At the event, SANY showcased a range of products, including the top-selling Jiangshan Pingding 425 electric truck. The company also introduced its upgraded service standards, promising quick response and resolution times.

A highlight was the world's first 5G autonomous electric truck, capable of L4-level autonomous driving and 20,000 km of testing. SANY’s new digital management system allows for smart fleet management and monitoring.

Despite a 10% drop in heavy truck sales in China from January to July this year, sales of electric heavy trucks surged by 139%, with SANY holding a 17.4% market share. Industry experts see this as a sign of rapid growth in the electric truck sector.
