On December 4th, Foton Motor introduced two new additions to the Auman Galaxy family—Galaxy 5 and Galaxy T—during its Marketing Strategy and Product Launch Conference. These innovative models highlight Foton’s advanced capabilities in the heavy truck sector.

Galaxy 5: A Perfect Blend of Technology and Practicality
The Galaxy 5 is the latest masterpiece in the Auman Galaxy lineup. The AUMAN Galaxy 5, with a power range of 480 to 620 horsepower, is tailored for professional logistics. Featuring a futuristic “Galaxy Mecha” design and cutting-edge technology, it sets a new standard for heavy truck aesthetics. Inside, the spacious cabin offers a 645mm aisle width and 1880mm interior height, ensuring a comfortable working environment for drivers. A slim dashboard adds a modern, high-tech feel and improves visibility.

Performance-wise, the Galaxy 5 incorporates over 200 technical innovations and structural optimizations to achieve a lighter design, reducing its weight by 350 kilograms compared to similar models. It is equipped with advanced hybrid technology that supports eight energy modes and adapts to 46 different operating conditions, delivering a 3-5% improvement in fuel efficiency.
Galaxy T: Tough and Versatile for Any Job
The AUMAN Galaxy T offers a power range of 350 to 680 horsepower, positioning itself as an all-purpose heavy-duty truck for engineering projects.
Designed for high-intensity tasks, the Galaxy T stands out with 48 reliability enhancements, offering a rugged and practical solution for various applications. Key features include a top-mounted air intake system and high-capacity lightweight suspension, ensuring excellent performance across diverse scenarios. Additionally, the Galaxy T boasts an extra-wide sleeper berth and large rear windows for improved driver comfort and reduced cabin noise, creating a quieter and more relaxing driving experience.

Driving Industry Transformation and Shaping the Future
Liu Gang, Vice President of Foton’s Auman Division, emphasized that the Galaxy series combines multi-energy solutions with advanced intelligent technology to redefine global standards for heavy trucks. Looking ahead, Foton plans to use the Galaxy family as a foundation to accelerate the green and intelligent transformation of the commercial vehicle industry, fostering high-quality development in the sector.
